Machine Construction & Features

Machine base – manufactured from heavy gauge electro-welded steel - designed as the main support for the gantry, and is equipped with leveling bolts around the perimeter of the base. A 30 US gallon coolant tank is housed in the base.
Rotating Gantry - accommodates miter angles up to 60° left and 45° right.
2 Stage Gearbox – with a 10 HP motor, which is controlled by a Mitsubishi AC inverter drive providing variable band speed. Blade speed is easily adjusted from the control console.
6 degree canted head – ideal for cutting beams and structural material.
Dual “Pivoting” front Vises - provides material clamping on both sides of the blade and positive clamping grip at any angle.
Laser Beam Light – Projecting a line across the material along the blade path, utilized as a marker for fast manual measurements of stock length to be cut.
Blade Wheels – manufactured from high quality cast iron wheels with heavy-duty wheel & gearbox shaft bearings.
Guide Arms –heavy-duty where as the idler side guide arm is mechanically connected to the front moveable jaw, moving in tandem with the vise, ensuring proper positioning of the guide arm spacing, in relation to material width, at all times.
Blade Guides - replaceable carbide insert guides housed in the guide arms provide cut accuracy of + / - .002” per linear inch of material and excellent vibration dampening.
Powered Blade Brush – hydraulically driven 3” blade brush keeps the blade gullets clean, helping to maximize blade performance and life.
Digital Angle/Blade speed Display – Provides an accurate display of angular position of the blade as well as blade surface feet per minute.
Blade Tensioning - hydraulic blade tensioning provides consistent automatic blade tension while allowing quick and easy blade changing.
Coolant System - a centrifugal pump immersed in the 30-gallon coolant reservoir delivers ample coolant flow through carbide faced and nozzle guides. A flow valve is present for coolant quantity adjustment.  A wash down hose with spray gun is also mounted at the front of the machine for machine / parts wash down.
Hydraulic System - a 3HP driven hydraulic pump supplies system pressure.  The system pressure through 3-position directional valves controls all vising, head up/down, blade tension, and head miter axis position.  The pump and motor assembly and hydraulic manifold complete with all function directional valves are conveniently located for easy access.  Direct downfeed system provides easy adjustment of both head feed rate and cutting pressure. 
Electrical System - the electrical control components are housed in a cabinet at the rear of the machine.  The operator manual switches are conveniently located on a remote console in the front of the machine.  Components and wiring are neatly laid out and labeled for easy troubleshooting.
Controls  - conveniently located in the front of the machine on a remote pedestal, the selector switches and pushbuttons allow the operator to manually control all machine functions including emergency stops.

OPTIONAL FEATURES

Idler Roller Conveyors - Type II Conveyor: 48” wide x 31” high x 10’ section.  Maximum workload 800 lbs./ft. with 2-1/2” o.d. rollers on 12” centers.
Powered Roller Conveyors - Type II Conveyor: 48” wide x 31” high–available in 5’ or 10’ lengths. Maximum workload 800 lbs./ft. with 2-1/2” o.d. rollers on 12” centers.

• Includes gearbox, drive sprockets, and chain.
• 3 positions control (forward/stop/reverse) “joystick” mounted on a remote pedestal.

Powered Cross-Transfer Conveyors – Lift-and-carry type system with chain driven buggy.  Available in lengths up to 40’.  Maximum workload 10,000 lbs.
