The Eisele Model VA-L 560 NC1 is a specialized, automatic cut-off system for aluminum extrusions, bars and tubes as well as for other non-ferrous material such as plastic and glass composites and copper and brass tubing.  The automatic material feed operates with a shuttle vise driven by a precision ball screw using a special drive motor that advances the material to a preset cut-off length with a maximum shuttle stroke up to 1000mm.

The floating shuttle vise feeds the material into the saw’s two main vises.  These vises grip the material on each side of the saw blade.  The right hand vise releases immediately after the cut is made and before the blade retracts, leaving an excellent finish that is free of marking by chips and blade.

The double clamping system in pneumatic, and the infinitely variable power feed of the saw head is controlled by an air/hydraulic system.  Cooling and lubrication on both sides of the saw is provided by a spray mist coolant system, synchronized with the downstroke of the saw head.
